You can help the Urban League further its mission “to transform generations by promoting personal empowerment and economic self-sufficiency” while leaving a lasting mark in the community. You have the opportunity to have your name, or that of someone you know and love, immortalized in the Urban League’s Path to Empowerment. The bricks will be engraved and placed on the walkways leading in and around the Urban League’s front door.
Your purchase will provide critical support for the League’s programs. We will put these funds to good use in the areas we serve in Cincinnati, Dayton and Northern Kentucky connecting youth and adults to jobs, helping launch new businesses, career development and advocating for positive social change.
Over the past five years, we trained thousands of individuals, successfully placed hundreds adults in jobs and helped to create many jobs through our business and entrepreneurship programs. Our workforce development grads potentially added more than $00 of taxable income to the local economy during 2014-2018.
